Diana is a CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist), a Certified Dyslexia Screener, a Certified Barton Reading & Spelling System Tutor, and Orton-Gillingham trained. Diana has been involved in reading and dyslexia education since 2004 when she began working in a variety of roles at her Little Rock family business, Gideon Math & Reading. Over the years, Diana has focused her passion and training on dyslexia and reading struggles. Diana opened the the NWA branch in 2013 and then joined forces with sister, Meredith Henson in 2016 to add speech-language services.

Meredith is a Speech-Language Pathologist trained in a variety of specialized programs. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2010 and worked in graphic design and marketing before deciding that her calling was with struggling children. She enrolled in the Communications Disorders undergraduate program at the University of Arkansas, where she later also attended graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology. While in graduate school, Meredith knew she was primarily interested in pediatric speech-language therapy and interned with a private pediatric clinic, where she was later hired. She also worked at Gideon Math & Reading during high-school and college leading to her interest in working with children in her own practice addressing speech, language, and reading needs.
