Diana is a CALT (Certified Academic Language Therapist), a Certified Dyslexia Screener, a Certified Barton Reading & Spelling System Tutor, and Orton-Gillingham trained. Formerly Gideon Math & Reading,  Diana moved to a full-time position in 2012 after working part time with the center since its opening in 2004. The Little Rock and Bryant branches, owned by Diana and Meredith’s mother, were originally designed around a supplemental education model. Over the years, Diana focused her passion and training on dyslexia and reading struggles before deciding to switch to a more intensive, one-on-one therapy model. The NWA center has focused on dyslexia and reading therapy since 2013 and in 2017 added speech-language services, prompting the change to the new name, Lexicon.

Meredith graduated in 2010 with a degree in Journalism- Advertising & Public Relations. She worked in graphic design and marketing before deciding that her calling was elsewhere. She enrolled in the Communications Disorders undergraduate program at the University of Arkansas, where she later attended graduate school for Speech-Language Pathology. While in graduate school, Meredith knew she was primarily interested in pediatric speech-language therapy, and interned with a private pediatric clinic, where she was later hired and has been working since 2014. She worked at Gideon Math & Reading during high-school and college and has always had an interest in opening her own practice. She is excited to be partnering with Diana to offer a clinic in Northwest Arkansas that is able to provide comprehensive speech, language and reading therapies.
